Alstom Power—Using an SMP to
allow a PLC using Modicon MODBUS to communicate with two IEMOs (Independent
Electricity Market Operator), a remote SCADA system, and a GRMC (Generation
Resource Management Center), all using DNP 3.0.

Associates—Using the SMP as a communications gateway to provide the
interface between a PC-based server using a IEC 60870-5-104 Master OPC
server, and remote stations using Schweitzer SEL 351 and Modicon MODBUS

Transmission Corporation Relay Data Server project—Development of a
custom web-based software application to retrieve SOE and DFR data from
substation IEDs, and make the data available using a web browser on the
corporate intranet.

X.25 WAN.

Shedder Project—Using the SMP with custom software and hardware
modules in order to implement a remote control load shedder.
